SUMMARY:First Annual Community Smoke-off
DESCRIPTION:Hey Broadhurst\, mark your calendar on September 17th for our first annual community smoke off (we’re smoking pork ribs). We have four pit master participants who will be doing their best for the smoking crown. This event is open to the Broadhurst community. We are asking all those who are coming to bring a dish and please feel free to include some beer or wine to share with others. So if your last name begins with an A to M\, please bring a salad of some type\, and if your last name is between N and Z\, please bring a dessert to share. Now\, if your last name is Smith and you want to bring your world famous pasta salad\, please feel free to do so\, and the vice-versa is true. We are asking everyone to rsvp and how many you will be bringing. This will help with our planning (tables\, chairs\, water\, etc.). We’ll have other smoked meats besides pork ribs (chicken and pork shoulder). \nDate: September 17 \nTime: Social Hour 3:00 to 4:00 \nEating 4:00 to 6:00 \nPlace: 3007 264th Ave NE \nRSVP: Yes \nDishes: A to M = salad \nN to Z = dessert \nAlcohol: Feel free to bring something to share \nOpen to Broadhurst Community\, children are more than welcome \nPlease pardon the construction as we are having a new garage/shop being built. We still have plenty of room to roam and we will have a number of yard games to play – ladder ball\, cornhole\, bocce\, and if my grandkids are here I can see a competitive game or two of red light\, green light. I look forward to seeing some familiar faces along with meeting new community members. Along with tasting good food\, this is really a social event.
