Broadhurst Architectural Control Committee (ACC) Request Form

Procedure for submission: Requests may be submitted at any time to the Broadhurst ACC. Please allow sufficient time for approval by the Broadhurst ACC before you begin work.

Painting – Submit paint sample(s). Large samples give a better impression than small. Include a description of the color of the houses on either side of yours.

Brick – if you are using brick different from that on your house, submit a sample or brochure showing the color.

Building additions – If you are constructing a room addition to your home, submit full working drawings for the improvement. This includes floor plans and elevations of all exterior views as well as construction details and time expectations.

Patios & Gazebos – Submit a plot plan showing location, as well as drawing with elevations and exterior appearance.

Fencing – This includes new and replacement fencing. A diagram of the fence line and a description of the type of fence to be installed need to be included.

Roofing – Submit a manufacturer’s sample or brochure showing type and color of material you are using.

Landscaping – Include a plot plan showing in detail what you intend to accomplish. Be sure to show both existing conditions as well as improvements. If you will be planting trees and shrubs be sure to indicate the type and size on the drawing. If you will be installing rock or bark mulch planting beds please specify the type, color and size. If you are using edging, specify the type.

**It is extremely important that you do not change existing drainage flow on your lot. Be aware of detention tracts, protected native growth or 40% slope areas and wetlands that may be on your property by reviewing the county plat maps you received with your closing documents.

Please note – per the Broadhurst CC&Rs, a $25 fee for review of minor structural changes or a $200 fee for review of major structural changes may apply. You will be notified by the Broadhurst ACC if payment is required. Payment should be submitted to: Broadhurst Homeowners Association, P.O. Box 3494, Redmond, WA 98073

I understand that I must receive approval by the Broadhurst ACC to proceed. I understand that Broadhurst ACC approval does not constitute approval of the local building department and that I may be required to obtain a building permit. I agree to complete improvements promptly after receiving approval. I hereby authorize the Broadhurst ACC to enter onto my property for exterior inspection at a mutually agreed upon time.
